University of Limerick (UL)

Established in 1972, the University of Limerick is an independent, internationally focussed university with over 13,149 students and 1,449 staff. It is a young, energetic and enterprising university with a proud record of innovation in education and excellence in research and scholarship. The University has been named ‘University of the Year 2015 in the Sunday Times Good University Guide. Also in 2015, the University was placed in the top 200 most international universities in the world in the Times Higher Education rankings.

Dublin City University (DCU)

—DCU is a young, dynamic and ambitious university with a distinctive mission to transform lives and societies through education, research and innovation. Since admitting its first students in 1980, DCU has grown in both student numbers and size and now occupies a 72 acre site in Glasnevin, just north of Dublin city. DCU regularly features in the QS Top 50 under 50 and the THE Young University rankings (a ranking of the Top 100 Universities under 50 years of age).

The Institute of Technology Tralee (IT Tralee)

The Institute of Technology Tralee (IT Tralee) was established in 1977 as the Regional Technical College, Tralee and in 1992 became the Institute of Technology, Tralee. The Institute currently has 3,500 full & part-time students. IT Tralee operates on two campus locations in Tralee, Co. Kerry: the South Campus located in Clash and the North Campus located in Dromtacker which opened in 2001.

Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT)

Limerick Institute of Technology (LIT) is an institute of higher education in Limerick, a modern urban city in the Mid-West region of Ireland and is one of 13 institutes that are members of the Institutes of Technology, Ireland (IOTI). LIT is the fourth largest IOT in Ireland, with more than 6000 full time and part time students and 500 staff.  LIT was awarded the Sunday Times Institute of Technology of the Year in 2008 and 2013 by the Sunday Times University Guide.
